Mint Discs Plastics

Royal Plastic: Best all-season grip, beats in the fastest.

Eternal Plastic: Extremely durable, will maintain stability the longest. 

Apex Plastic: Premium plastic, a combo of grip and durability with a little extra glide. Opaque appearance. Best option for dyeing. Also available with swirls.

Sublime Plastic: Optimal durability plus grip. Metallic/shimmering appearance. Unique stamps created by artists are available in this plastic specific to the run.

Nocturnal Plastic: Glow plastic, good grippiness, and some added stability.

Distance Drivers

Goat: 12/4/-1.0/3.0 - A fast-speed, overstable distance driver. Great for windy conditions, with lots of stability and a predictable late fade.

Longhorn: 11/4/-1.0/3.0 - An overstable, slightly lower-speed driver with a bit more control than the Goat but similar stability.

Freetail: 10/5/-4.0/1.0 - A very understable control driver, suitable for intermediate players or as an extreme turnover or roller option for more experienced players with bigger arms. 

Fairway Drivers

Phoenix: 9/3/0.0/4.0 - A very overstable, low-glide fairway driver. This is an excellent disc for fighting the wind, skip shots or anything where you need a sharp fade.

Diamondback: 9/5/-2.0/2.0 - A fast, neutral fairway drive. An ideal first driver for less experienced players or hyzer-flip option for more powerful throwers.

Alpha: 8/4/0.0/2.0 - A slightly overstable fairway driver. This is your do-it-all option, able to be thrown in all conditions, by beginners and vets  and on a wide array of flight paths.

Jackalope: 8/5/-2.0/1.0 - A slightly understable, glidey fairway driver that is beginner friendly.

Grackle: 7/5/-1.0/2.0 - A stable fairway driver that  beats in to neutral. Good for both forehand and backhand throws.

Midrange Discs

Bobcat: 5/4/0.0/2.5 - An overstable, beadless midrange designed to go straight with a reliable, but not intense fade at the end of its flight.

Mustang: 5/5/0.0/2.0 - A straight flying mid with some stability. This is a point and shoot type of disc, designed to hold whichever line it is thrown on. 

Lobster: 5/5/-3.0/1.0 - An understable, beginner-friendly mid that is also a good option for newer players to hyzer-flip in the woods.

Putters

Profit: 3/3/0.0/1.5 - A slightly overstable putter good for putting and throwing. This is a flat, beaded putter that can do it all.

Bullet: 2/4/0.0/1.0 - A neutral, low profile  putter with a micro-bead, that can also be used on the green or off of the teepad.

Mint Discs Origin

Mint discs were founded in 2015 out of Austin, Texas by Guy Bovan, Zach Jensen and Chris Herbert, and after a few years of dedicated hard work and planning, their first disc was released in 2017; the Alpha.

This stood alone for several years before the Bobcat, Freetail and the Profit were introduced to build a diverse lineup of molds. Since then they have been steadily introducing new molds and expanding their repertoire as well as signing some recognizable names along the way, most recently Mason Ford and Des Reading.

One of the proprietary elements that Mint Discs offers is a serial number unique to that specific disc which offers a form of biography of that disc, with the type, plastic, and notably the run number as well. For their Sublime plastic, the serial number would also give pertinent information about the artist that created the stamp.

Mint Discs has a focus on community building and growing the sport of Disc Golf, especially in their home state of Texas. They have now emerged as the title sponsor for the Heart of Texas Tour (HOTT), which runs all throughout the state from March to October and includes the Texas State Disc Golf Championships and The Mint Discs Open.
