Discmania Mutant (Neo)
The Discmania Mutant (Neo) is a very overstable disc golf midrange that is grippy, very reliable, and great for intermediate and advanced players. Discmania's premium grade Neo plastic is very grippy (slightly gummy) and tough as nails.
The Mutant is one of the beefiest midranges on the market, although I would classify this disc more as a 4-speed approach disc than a midrange. My review is that it doesn't have as much glide as the flight numbers suggest, and since it is such a meathook, it is hard to get much distance out of it as well. Where this disc really shines is in headwinds, very predictable shots, and technical forehand lines. For sidearm shots the Mutant has low glide that can handle tons of torque due to it being so overstable.
